- Match the 6-character HUID where the hallmark order applies. The bill should show purity, net weight and making charges.
- A piece under 2 grams is outside the mandatory hallmark order. Ask for the bill anyway.
- Do not treat a price far below every other shop in T. Nagar as a reason to skip the bill.

No. Some Chennai shops follow a local association board, and that board can differ from the India rate. This page does not publish that board, and it does not invent a Chennai premium.
