Buying silver in Hyderabad
Hyderabad does not have its own silver row in our data. Read the India retail rate, then ask the shop in Laad Bazaar for its board and its making charge.
- There is no Hyderabad silver price to switch on. Both cards are India rates.
- A Laad Bazaar quote can include workmanship. The cards do not.
- Use per gram, per 10 g, per tola or per kilogram. The shop should say which weight it means.

Frequently asked questions
Is Hyderabad silver priced on its own here?
No. We do not have a Hyderabad silver rate, and we do not borrow one from another site. The market and retail cards are the India figures.
How do market and retail silver differ for a Charminar-area shop?
Show the shop the retail rate if you want a typical shop quote for the metal. The market rate is wholesale and lower. A Laad Bazaar shop can still charge more once making is added.
What is left off both silver cards?
Making charges, and GST until you switch it on. GST then is 3% of the metal. It is not a Hyderabad tax and it is not the shop’s fee for the work.
Can I use the tola column for silver?
Yes. One tola is 11.66 grams for silver as well as gold. The kilogram row is still the one to use when the shop quotes a kilo.
Which calculators help after I leave the shop?
